Hunting Department

The Hunting Department is a subdivision of the central office of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and, by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated February 28, 2014, No. 132 Regulations of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, implements state policy in the field of hunting and hunting, protection and reproduction of hunting animals and birds and the use of their effectiveness. The Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is established by the authorized state body in the field of forestry and hunting.

The Department carries out its activities on the basis of the instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, resolutions and orders of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Majlisi Oli and Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Hunting and Hunting Economy”, as well as Regulations on hunting and hunting, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 16.02.1997, No. 324, on the basis of the regulations of the Agency, guidelines and orders of the agency carries out its activities.

The position of the department was approved by the order of the Director of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated April 24, 2014, No. 42.

The Department carries out its activities on the basis of the Regulations of the department, annually developing and approving on the basis of an action plan by order of the Director of the Agency, providing in the direction of hunting, protection, maintenance and reproduction of hunting animals on the lands of the state forest fund and the effective use of the resources of the hunting fund.

Based on the change of working divisions of the agency, 4 people work in the hunting department: the head of the department, the chief specialist, the leading specialist and the specialist who performs his official duties in accordance with the job description and is included in the categories of civil servants.

Employees of the department carry out their activities on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Hunting and Hunting Economy” of 2014 and the Regulations on Hunting and Hunting Economy of 16.02.1997, No. 324 and contribute to the organization and regulation of hunting in the Republic of Tajikistan.

This law consists of 8 chapters and 48 articles and includes general provisions on hunting, management and regulation of hunting resources, wildlife, use of the hunting fund, hunting rules, monitoring of planning and management of hunting, as well as supervision in the field of hunting and hunting.

State control, compliance with the rules and timing of hunting in the Republic of Tajikistan on the authorized state body in the field of hunting forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the authorized state body in the field of environmental protection Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, annually determines hunting standards for wild animals and birds on the basis of reports on populations of wild animals and birds, begins and ends the hunting season.

The norms of hunting wild animals are included in the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan and are determined by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and issued by a license (license) Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Other types of wild animals and birds for sports and recreational hunting are issued by the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In the Republic of Tajikistan, the following period is provided for hunting prey, motivational and sports hunting.

1. For hunting wild animals (mating) from 1.09. to 31.03;

Tourist infrastructure and hotels for domestic and foreign tourists and hunters are being built on the territory of the state forest fund lands with the contribution of domestic entrepreneurs, which in the future will increase the attraction of domestic and foreign hunters to the state budget and will become an environment for the population of mahallas of new jobs and a decent life.
